Sadness, separation, pining, grieve, suffering. These are essential elements for romantic, touching stories. At the end of the story, you see the “happily ever after”, and you think, what a wonderful, beautiful tale.

But when you are in the middle of such a story, when you are supposed to be the heroine in such a beautiful, romantic tale, you will not feel either heroic or romantic.
