pondering about Jesus . . .

What Jesus gave up when He came to earth were the qualities He didn't want to love Him only for (powers, etc). What the Son of God kept even as a human being were the qualities. He wanted us to love Him for. (His lovingness, mercy, pity, righteousness, passion, compassion, etc) He wanted to see if we could love Him for the latter even when He hid the former. That's the kind of love He wants.

People need to see reality of God to know Him. How does that connect with God's different qualities(power vs passion)?
