on praying

Some people ask why we bother to pray and ask God for things When God already knows everything. I think, more than anything else, God wants us to learn to ask him. Learn to trust his providence and that it is he who provides for our every need.

I think trust necessarily precedes the very act of asking. Even when a distraught mother pleads with the cold-blooded murderer not to kill Her son, she is banking in on the fact that the murderer must have SOME warm blood after all. If he does not, she could not possibly touch his heart with all the pleading in the whole wide world.

We very naturally ask of those whom we are sure(or at least more Likely) can fulfil our needs than those whom we are sure do not.

{above is like, one tenth of what i was thinking, my so called
Inspiration, before i started typing. I do not know what happened,
Or anything. In fact, this story isn’t completed at all. That is,
Compared to the one in my head. Somehow, something got lost
Somewhere along the way. It always does.}
