The Master
Psalm 143:11-12, John 15:13-16
The master loves the servant and cares for him and protects him. He bought the servant at a price, as a slave in bondage, but calls the servant a son of his house and loves him as his own child.
The master is patient with his servants and waits for his servant to come to him that he may love him. The master gives him work, but only for the servant's own sake. He provides for all of his servant's needs, abundantly. The master protects his servant, and keeps him from all harm.
The master is a friend to his servant and shows him all his riches. The master chose the servant and gives him whatever he asks for. He loves the servant at a costly price. The master lays down his life for his servant.
This is the way of things in my Master's house. "Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
