Today on the news, there was a report of these whales in some place, they swam in with the tide and came closer and closer to shore with the rising tide.
And then the tide went out.
And the poor whales were left there, on the sand. With no water to swim back to sea in. some of them died, those surviving had to be dragged into the water by a great deal of people, so that they might live. The report said the whales were very depressed when they found themselves on dry land, with no means of going back into the water. Or surviving.
It struck me how similar those who lock themselves in their mental prisons are.
